The week in review

YAY! Another fun holiday week....
But this one was extra special because my Jacob had the week off too

YEP! I got to spend the week with all my boys!

And here are some of the highlights that made me smile... a lot!

Being silly with this guy!

haha we are a crazy duo! This has been such a fun holiday so far.. I love that at 13 he is still happy to be so goofy with me.. Kids grow up way too fast these days. It's fun to hang onto that goofiness!

I even got this... I love you Mum... You're cool!

Haha.. Being cool is all about being yourself no matter what.. And not taking yourself too seriously!
There's enough in the world to worry about without having to worry about fitting in..

That's one of the things I believe is truly important to teach our children..
The pressure these days is crazy!

Have fun.. Be kind!

And hold on to these moments as they pass..

Well then there's this guy....

My Jacob... My soul mate.. The other half of me!

It's great taking time out for adventures because so often you just live the conveyor belt of life and forget to take moments out to look and think how lucky you are...
Never forget how you fell in love... And keep that feeling safe!

And my secret... Living with open eyes.... and complete silliness!

Yep so that's 2 of my adventure team...

Then of course we can't go without mentioning the littlest member..

My best friend and sidekick..

One of my favourite set of candid photos taken by Jacob!
Yep he's changed my life in so many ways...
I feel braver...  More relaxed... Like I can do anything when he's by my side!

He was really brave too... He's a little nervous of buses and the waves but he overcame both fears..

haha he's an awesome pup!

So yeah those guys make me smile... ALWAYS!

And here are some photos from our adventures...

We cycled to a different woods a little further away

My friend gave me a list of items to scavenge and I did it!

Then went to the beach... Where it was like we were the only people in the world

And you would not believe how many spirit stones I found!

I actually ended up finding 29!!!

AND some twine left behind by a fisherman so I could create the perfect magic necklace!

Oh and check this out.... The biggest one yet!

I even found a couple of chunks of sea glass.. Which I never find.

We built sandcastles and thoroughly made the most of being away from it all for a few hours!

We found a spooky woods close to home... With unusual rubbish... Bones..
and Tiny found a massive pipe!
It was like Super Mario for a moment there..

And more spirit stones..

haha what can I say? I'm a magnet.. I seriously think I could find one anywhere!

And then.... The zoo!!!

WOOP! This was a lovely late birthday treat from my Mum and Dad!

So dressed in my specially chosen zoo outfit

Off we went

I'm always most excited to see the CABYBARAS!

My people...

And here are a few more pictures.. It was a wonderful day...

Because it was so crazy busy, I made it less about taking photos and more about just enjoying every moment.. But I like the few I did take..

What animal are you most excited to see at the zoo??

Other things that made me smile this week..

Pretty cycle rides into town make the horror of uniform shopping more bearable!

Snuggly Autumn wear as the feeling of Summer closing is bittersweet

Finding a special 3 holed spirit stone..

And a creepy cool cat ornament in the charity shop

Purple flares in the post..

Lots of happy mail

The end of an era... Amazing plush from my friend Jess!

As she will be making them no more.. So I HAD to grab one for our collection!

And Noah got this one as a special gift... He loves him! He KNOWS handmade plush rule!

And I won a giveaway over on Hambals and friends facebook page!

So breakfast mouse moved in... And gave my breakfast the thumbs up!

Seeing the Morks coming to life

And snuggling up in my den

But most of all.... Just spending time with these guys....

Haha YES! It's been a wonderful week!

How was YOURS!????

I'd love to hear!

Love and rainbows Kitty xxx

I love the zoo, we have two near us, the welsh Mountain zoo is about 20 minutes drive, mum and i go there in the winter when its not so busy, she likes to go for her birthday in January. I love the birds, the flamingos and the sealions, they have been my fave since I was a baby apparently :)then theres chester zoo, much much bigger, an hours drive, its a wonderful conservation park.

My week has been quiet, I have organised myself a bit so i have lots do do next week :) i did manage a couple of walks and found a couple of treasures so its all good :) xx
