Socks Rock

A long time ago I sat in my little pink house watching tv with a spotty sock in hand and created this..
This was one of the first ice creamies! And when adopted she left Planet sock to become Bo Pepper the ROCK SOCK!!!

After this video which appeared on MTV and Perez Hilton, she went on to several live appearances and videos including..

also this Christmas one..

Bo Pepper can be found hanging around on mic stands in the UK at a venue near you!!

In the following creamies changed shape and the old style was left behind!
New ice creamies!!
Thats evolution after all!!
But I had a custom order for an old style ice creamie AKA Bo Pepper.I have very few of those socks left so in a limited edition kind of way I created this one..

Meet Gretchen...She's the little sister of Bo Pepper and just loves music and dreams of one day being just like Bo! She loves singing and dancing and playing air guitar with her knitted ice lolly (which is also a badge!)

Sockin rockin out!!
Air Guitar ROCKIN OUT!!!!

Oh and not forgetting my chief hugger..Noah!!
Pre loaded with hugs!!
Every creature gets pre loaded with hugs before it leaves to go to it's new home...

I only have 8 socks left to make 8 more creatures, so unless I find any more these are very limited edition. If you think you could give a home to a rock sock please pop over to and make an order!!

Knitted Dorset

Well it's been a while since I started this project, and to be honest I have been neglecting it a bit over the last week or so. With this in mind I thought I would show you how far I have got, in the hope that I will get back on track!

This is the nearly completed section based on our 1st January walk at Sandbanks.

And here is the finished beach hut up close...
Freeform day 25 of 365
This will not be to scale as it is based on individual snapshots of different days out. More like a knitted collage of Dorset!
Then on 26th January we went to Lulworth Cove..
Blues for my freeform project!
It was a beautiful day and the blue sea and sky was amazing. That led me to knit this part..
Freeform day 26 of 365
I sewed in the fishing twine I found

Then it looked like this..

I saw this bucket tree on the way to the beach and thought it was truly amazing..
The Bucket tree!
It felt magical just to look at it. Buckets left behind from many many family holidays, collected and hung on this tree!
The next part knitted in were the cliffs..
Freeform day 33 of 365
Then the bucket tree, complete with knitted buckets.
Freeform day 37 of 365
So there we have it...

These are the completed sections of Sandbanks and Lulworth Cove. Next I am starting on Wareham forest.
